Re_Conn_Station in Esercizi di lettura | Architetture per piccoli contesti

This volume contains the reflections and results of the Design Studio III (A.A 2015 - 2016) Trans-border line, projects for the recovery of the Sulmona-Introdacqua railway station on the Sulmona-Carpinone-Isernia line. It represents an application of the project with respect to a broader field of research that embraces a series of issues related to the abandonment in fragile territories.
Through a series of theoretical contributions, the book wants to offer a point of view on the role of the recycling in architecture and landscape, starting from a reflection on the scale of the project and its limits. Time, construction, relationships, sustainability, reversibility are key words that have guided the students' experiences and theoretical contributions within this publication.
