The Pixel Center is a project that comes from the aggregation of regular volumes that surround a ramp that serves all the levels of the buildings. These volumes allow different functions for various categories of people. The goal is to give Como the possibility to offer to its population a center of leisure and aggregation. The whole project developes its shape from the triangular shape of the block in which it is located: on the bank of the lake and close to the existing stadium. The volumes have different roof levels and they are treated with a metal case that homogenize all the elements creating different pitches. The case is conceived as a leather covering both the opaque and transparent walls. Where the roof is accessible, the shell is 3 meters higher, making the passage covered for visitors.

The holes of the shell filter the sun rays, satisfy the natural ventila- tion and allow the rain to enter the floor.
